Gummy smiles and chubby thighs

Every session is child-led, so the photographs capture your little one’s true spirit, from gentle smiles and curious expressions to playful, joyful moments. These sessions are designed to celebrate growing personalities and those precious first milestones. Perfect for babies aged 6–14 months, we can focus on family moments, chubby thighs in a cute bathtub session, or first birthday celebrations.

Your session will take place in my Warwickshire studio, thoughtfully designed with little ones in mind, ensuring a calm, comfortable, and safe environment. Together, we’ll create a collection of timeless portraits of your child, along with natural, heartfelt images of you and your family.

THIS IS A CHAPTER LIKE NO OTHER

This is a chapter,  a fleeting, extraordinary moment in your child’s life. Baby photos don’t stop at the newborn stage. Milestone sessions are where their personality truly begins to shine, from cheeky smiles to curious expressions and all the little quirks that make them uniquely them.

When you book, you’ll have the opportunity to personalise your session and share a little more about your family and what you envision.

Between 6–10 months, we can capture those new sitting skills, and perhaps a few crawling attempts.  With those gorgeous chubby thighs stealing the show.
From 10–14 months, we can celebrate that all-important first birthday with a subtle “One” theme timeless portraits focused on your baby’s natural joy and character.

Both session types can finish with a bathtub moment. Trust me, the laughter and splashing are truly unforgettable.

As with all my sessions, this experience will also include photographs with Mum and Dad, creating a collection that tells the story of your family.

FAQs

  • I recommend booking your session up to 12 weeks in advance to secure your preferred date and time. If you’ve left it a little later, don’t worry, please get in touch as soon as possible and I’ll do my best to fit you in.

  • Just your little one, and any special props or outfits you’d like to include.
    The studio is fully equipped with a beautiful baby wardrobe, along with carefully selected props to create a polished, timeless look.

  • Not at all! Milestone sessions are completely child-led. I follow your child’s cues to make sure they feel safe, happy, and relaxed.
    Even if your little one is shy, curious, or full of energy, we’ll capture authentic, natural expressions. No forced smiles here.

  • Absolutely! I always encourage parents to step in for a few photos.
    These moments create meaningful images that truly celebrate your family and connection.

  • Milestone sessions are designed to focus on one baby or child, capturing their unique stage and personality.
    We’ll absolutely include a few sibling and family photos, but if you’d like equal focus across all your children, I recommend booking a Family Photoshoot instead.

  • Milestone sessions last up to 2 hours.
    This allows plenty of time for play, snack breaks, outfit changes, and capturing those genuine smiles and expressions without any rush.

  • You’ll receive your private online viewing gallery within 2–4 weeks of your session.
    From there, you can choose your favourite photographs to keep, print, and treasure forever. Please bear this timeline in mind if you would like little ones photos back in time for their first birthday party etc.
