I’m Katie, a mum, photographer, and storyteller for families who want to remember the beautiful, sometimes chaotic, and always heart-full parts of life.

Becoming a mum changed everything for me. It’s when I found my niche in family photography, realising just how quickly time moves, how fast those tiny details fade, and how precious it is to hold onto them. That’s what I love creating for other families.

My little girl is now two and brings daily joy, chaos, and sass to our home, so believe me, I get toddlers. I know children aren’t always in the mood to smile on cue, and that’s perfectly fine.

I also understand that choosing a photographer isn’t just about beautiful images; it’s about trust. For your peace of mind, I’m DBS checked, insured, and trained in Baby and Child First Aid, so you can relax.

THE STUDIO

Nestled in the heart of Kenilworth, Warwickshire, my home studio is a calm, welcoming space designed with families and new parents in mind.

Soft natural light, cosy textures, and neutral tones create the perfect backdrop for timeless, natural photographs.

You’ll find everything you need, space to feed or change your baby, light refreshments, and a quiet, relaxed environment that feels more like home than a studio.

WHAT TO EXPECT

BEFORE YOUR SESSION

  • Get in touch and tell me a little about your family and the chapter you would like to capture.
  • We’ll choose a date together. Newborn session dates are provisional and confirmed when little one arrives.
  • When you’re ready to book, I’ll send a link to your online client portal where you can complete a few simple forms and share any special requests.
  • Once your booking is confirmed, you’ll receive a welcome guide to help you prepare with ease. You can explore the studio wardrobe and let me know if you’d like to borrow any items.

ON THE DAY

  • We’ll begin with a relaxed cup of tea while I walk you through your personalised session plan. You can try on wardrobe items and we’ll finalise outfits together.
  • Your little one sets the pace. Sessions allow time for feeds, changes, and settling — calm, gentle, and completely stress-free.
  • There’s a dedicated space off the studio for siblings to play and enjoy a snack between their moments in front of the camera.
  • The remaining balance for your session is due within 48 hours.

AFTER YOUR SESSION

  • I’ll carefully edit your images and prepare your personal viewing gallery, delivered online within 2–4 weeks.
  • From your gallery, select your favourites. If you’d like to upgrade your package, you can do so at this stage. Once your choices are finalised, I’ll add the finishing touches, including subtle skin smoothing and removal of temporary blemishes.
  • Your final gallery will be delivered online within 7 days of your selections.
  • Optional printed product consultation: you’ll be invited to explore beautifully crafted products to bring your photographs to life in your home.
  • Your prints and bespoke artwork will be carefully produced and delivered within approximately 6 weeks.

To make your session effortless, you’ll have full access to the curated studio wardrobe, including beautiful maternity gowns, flattering dresses for mums, and simple outfits for babies. Each piece has been chosen to complement my timeless, natural style, so you can arrive knowing I will take care of the rest.
