Your session isn’t just about images, it’s about feeling relaxed, supported, and completely at ease. From our very first conversation, I guide you through every stage of the process, from styling and outfit choices to gently directing natural interaction.
On the day, you can focus on being present with your family while I capture the laughter, the cuddles, and the in-between moments that matter most. Whether in my Kenilworth studio or at a carefully chosen outdoor location across Warwickshire, every session is thoughtfully planned to feel effortless and enjoyable.

STUDIO OR OUTDOOR?
Choosing between studio and outdoor can feel like the hardest part. I’m always happy to guide you, but here are a few thoughts to help you decide.
Many clients initially feel unsure about a studio session, worrying it may feel awkward or overly posed. I promise you, it won’t. The studio offers a calm, controlled environment with space for snack breaks, resets,and relaxed interaction, which works beautifully for younger children.
If you’re in a more energetic, fast-paced season of family life, an outdoor session allows us to embrace that movement. We can walk, play, explore, and capture those joyful, natural moments as they unfold. Both options create timeless imagery, the choice simply depends on the feel you’re drawn to

Studio sessions take place at 10am, while outdoor sessions are scheduled around sunset to make the most of the soft, flattering light. I understand this can sometimes mean adjusting bedtime routines, but the warmth and glow of golden-hour imagery is truly worth it.

We chose Katie to do our family photos & it was the best decision we ever made. Katie is extremely patient, so welcoming and the photographs she produces are simply stunning. It’s clear she has a natural flair for what she does before you have even seen the final images!
We haven’t had any photos like this done before, other than wedding photos, but Katie made us feel at ease at all times. My only regret is I didn’t find Katie sooner as I would 100% have had photos done for my older children.
