It is a joyful, fleeting season that deserves to be remembered. A milestone session can be a beautiful sitter session around the six-month mark, when your baby is confidently sitting and full of curiosity, or a first birthday celebration to mark their incredible first year.

I help families preserve the beautiful, ever-changing details of their little one’s first year—turning thesefleeting stages into memories that last a lifetime.
Your session isn’t just about images—it’s about feeling relaxed, supported, and confident. From our very first conversation, I guide you through every stage of the process, from styling and outfit choices to gently directing natural, joy-filled moments.
On the day, you can simply enjoy watching your little one’s personality shine while I capture it for you. Your baby’s comfort and wellbeing are always my top priority. Every setup is carefully planned and thoughtfully executed, so you can relax knowing they are in experienced, professionally trained hands.

Outside the studio, I am a mum, a dog lover, and a devoted chocolate brownie enthusiast.
THE MILESTONE EXPERIENCE
Your milestone session is tailored to you and led by your little one’s personality and pace.
For sitter sessions, we capture a beautiful mix of individual portraits and family photographs. If your little one is sitting confidently, we can also include a playful bathtub splash session, a favourite at this stage.
For first birthdays, I love to begin with a timeless teddy bear picnic setup, followed by relaxed family portraits, and finish with a joyful, messy bathtub session if your little one is still in good spirits.

This is not a rushed, high-volume studio. My cosy home studio has been designed to offer a calm, welcoming space where every detail is thoughtfully considered and tailored to you and your little one.
I offer a bespoke experience, limiting the number of sessions I take on each month to ensure every family receives the highest level of care and attention.

In a digital age, we take more photographs than ever before, yet so few are ever printed and truly enjoyed. Your baby’s firstyearsdeserve more than a screen,they deserve to be held, displayed, and passeddown for generations.
The Matted Folio – £45
A beautifully crafted linen-finished folio, housing two professionally printed fine art photographs. Designed to sit elegantly on a mantelpiece, shelf, or bedside table, it offers a timeless way to showcase your most cherished moments.
The Legacy Album – £135
A luxury, heavyweight album expertly handcrafted to preserve your memories for years to come. Featuring eight 7x5” matted photographs, each page tells the story of your baby’s earliest days in a tactile, enduring format designed to be treasured and revisited time and time again.
The ideal time to photograph a milestone session is when your little one is confidently sitting (usually between 6–9 months), or just before their first birthday to celebrate that incredible first year.
If you would like your photographs delivered in time for their birthday, I recommend booking your session approximately six weeks beforehand. I recommend booking in advance to secure availability, as I only accept a limited number of sessions each month.

Katie is so wonderful and every session with her has felt relaxed and fun, which is no mean feat with twins! The images that Katie has captured on multiple occasions are absolutely gorgeous, I couldn’t be happier with the results and we’ll keep coming back time and time again, she’s the best.
Katie took our maternity, newborn and 1st birthday photos and I could not recommend her more. The booking process is so smooth and easy, any questions I had she answered very quickly and in a lot of detail.
The atmosphere at the shoot is so relaxed and fun-I would compare it to going round a friend's for a cuppa and a catch up. Nothing is too much trouble and the studio space is just beautiful-the perfect backdrop for amazing photos. Every time we have had our photos back, the decisions which ones to choose were really hard as all the photos turn out so beautifully. I wouldn't go to anyone else for professional photos.
